How many hardware tests run?
26 on a Mac and 23 on a Windows laptop. Touch ID, Touch Bar and Force Touch are Mac-only. Keyboard, trackpad, display and similar checks are guided operator tests.
Which erase methods are available?
22 methods, including NIST SP 800-88 Clear and Purge (Rev. 1 and Rev. 2), DoD 5220.22-M, HMG IS5, Gutmann, Schneier, VSITR and GOST. Every erase is verified by read-back and recorded in the signed report.
Does it detect Autopilot, Intune and Activation Lock?
Yes. Activation Lock and MDM on Mac, and Autopilot, Intune and MDM enrolment on Windows, are flagged before the erase so a locked machine never reaches the shelf.
Can it tell if a Mac has replaced parts?
